Tango Native Apps: MusikCube

This my personal favourite! In my case it won with Winamp, Foobar, MediaMonkey and all the others.

The best music player there is:

  • supports AAC, MP3, MP4, MPC, WAV, WMV, AIFF, OGG, FLAC, APE, and CD audio files
  • Blazing fast and light
  • Dynamic playlists
  • Album Art works via 3rd party freeware
  • Last.fm support
  • Works with Winamp apps using the Winamp API via a plugin

Comment:
I recommend using it in combination with a small player (XMPlay for example). The small is used for quick previews while MusikCube jumps in when you need manageability.

  1. Foobar owns all, but i’ll try it anyway…

It’s good, but immediately after v1.0, the lead/only developer quit the project, and now it’s stagnating.

@tango: I updated the post with a small comment. Try using it this way.

@heliogue: Sure but actually I don’t feel like it’s missing sth. It’s really a complete app.

[…] like MusikCube is the best music player, Notepad2 is the best notepad. OK maybe it’s not the best but surely […]
